What is Carpal Tunnel?

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome affects over 60 million people worldwide. Many people refer to the syndrome as just “Carpal Tunnel”. The truth is, this term, refers to an important part of the human anatomy. Most people don't know where the Carpal Tunnel is located. They often think it is in the Wrist. However, it is located at the base of the hand as illustrated below.
